Dr. Strait is an Assistant Professor at the University of Houston-Clear Lake. He earned his Ph.D. in School Psychology from the University of South Carolina. Dr. Strait is a Licensed Psychologist (MO #2012001860) and a Nationally Credentialed School Psychologist. He has published over 10 peer-review articles on School-Based Motivational Interviewing and he has conducted a number workshops, trainings, symposiums, mini-skills, and paper presentations on the topic.
